The home care bed Comfort had been designed, constructed and tested in Slovakia but it also fulfills the requirements of markets in other EU countries. Our product can compete in quality and functionality with many other competitive products on the markets.

You can consider it yourself:

1. Our product has a steel construction that gives it a good strength and stability and a long term life span. The strength of bed is important at adjusting of grates position and at rising the bed to the height up to 900 mm or if the patient uses the lifting pole with a triangle grip. The steel construction is treated with a quality baked powder paint coating that allows its easy cleaning or sanitizing and gives the product an aesthetic strong surface resistant to scratching that guaranties a bed long life span (fig. 1a & 1b). The wooden parts give the product an attractive look with a feeling of home environment.  The main wooden parts are made from a hard beech wood that offers a long satisfaction (fig. 2).
2. The product contains 4 adjustable side rails, 4 swivel wheels with 125 mm diameter  (all of them breakable), a lifting pole with a triangle grip, a back grate, a thigh grate and a calf grate that are adjustable with an electric motor or manually according to the customer specification. The position of the calf grate can be adjusted in 10 separate levels in the range of 340 mm, so you can select the most suitable level for your legs (fig. 3, 4, 5 ).
3. The whole bed can be lifted from its basic position of 400 mm up to the max. height 900 mm from the floor. This makes the work of nurses and home care assistants much easier. It makes the manipulation with a patient lighter and it saves their backs (fig. 6).
4. A new kind of control panel with a magnetic lock allows adjustment of Trendelenburg and anti-Trendelenburg positions that are used in healthcare. Only the health care personnel have the magnetic key and that prevents a patient to adjust these positions which can be dangerous to some patients (fig. 7).
5. The back grate can be tilted upwards nearly to the vertical position. This allows patient feeding or giving him medicines in a sitting position (fig. 8).
6. The sides are on both sides of the home care bed. They can be lifted up and fixed in the top position. This prevents a patient from falling down of the bed. It is very important for children or for mentally disabled persons or if a patient has a great pain. In the down position the sides are placed under the mattress level so it does not interfere while sitting sideways on the bed or getting off the bed (fig. 8).
7. The bed is made from four assembled main parts that allows an easy carrying, transport and assembly or disassembly of the bed. You can easy transport them in a lift of a block of flats. It is also useful when a bed is used for renting from a health-care service.
8. The internal bed size for a mattress is 200 x 90 cm that is suitable to most of the patients.
9. The lifting pole cannot be used to lift up a person but only for a transfer from the supine position to the seated position or when the patient wants to alter his position. The maximum permissible load to the lifting pole is 80 kg and the maximum permissible lateral load is 35 kg.
10. The home care bed has 2 years guarantee applicable to all its mechanic parts or to all its motors and to the control box only if you follow up the installation and care instructions. The bed cannot be subject to an overload or a mechanical damage.
